Well, at least when I look drive properties there stands FAT. If the numbers presented are right, seems more like my drive had FAT32…. There is a limit on the number of thumbnails, too. Recently, I hit this limit with my collection of photographs. Now, I have to recreate thumbnails each time in a current directory, because Windows quickly forgets them. On a FAT32 drive, I once got Error 0x It took some time to figure it out… too many files-with-long-names in one folder.
