Wonder how many other Inquisition players who had similar trouble after patch 2. Guess I should post it on Bioware forums.
I began experiencing this problem yesterday. I use Debut, not the SoundTap program itself. I caught the driver name before it automatically restarted. SoundTap is not listed in my Programs and Features, nor is it in my Start list.
The only item which came up was a Registration entry for Debut. Where did you get a version of Debut which requires stdriver Debut should use a driver called debutfilterx I never had this problem before, so I'm wondering if it is an issue with a Windows 7 update. Must I uninstall Debut, or pay for an upgrade?

In reply to Andre for Directly's post on July 28, I'm still unable to install the driver, previous versions and the version recommended cause the blue screen when they are installed through device manager.
In reply to steve ram25's post on July 28, Did not come with Realtek drivers installed for speakers" - The Realtek drivers are never installed by Windows and you should always try to use the driver supplied by the mfg of your motherboard if using a Desktop machine, so MSI in your case. While you are at MSI also check for other newer motherboard drivers. I believe this may be an 'optional component package ' customisations to the 'universal' driver Reboot before installing the driver you downloaded from MSI.
Only using Device Manager if using an older machine with no Win10 specific driver supplied by the mfg.
