I am only interested in playing it offlline. Did you try to install complete uplay client from ubisoft site? One reason why i have stayed with Windows 7 for older games like this. Different issue on my end, the game crashes consistently. Tried about every fix I've come across, gonna have to resort to installing Win 7 on a different drive. Just bought the original FarCry from GOG, installed it and started it up and was letting do the graphics settings auto detect. Tried to run the game, all I see is the splash-screen and that's it, I can't even alt-tab out of the splash-screen Have to restart the computer. Tried to run in windows xp sp3 compatibility mode, didn't help.
