Haven't decided if I'll buy this mouse again. My two main issues with it: -too heavy -too big If you do a lot of mouse-work you probably want a lighter mouse than this. Maybe even a wired optical. Both of my stated issues might be resolved by just forking up the extra cash for a nicer mouse.
Or maybe you just have bigger hands than I do. Pros: First one was DOA - scroll wheel. After that it was replaced, worked like a charm. Overall, I like the mouse and love the magnification button - great for poor eyes. Pros: Great tracking, extremely long battery life normal use around a few months between batt changes very comfortable. Overall Review: the battery life is the best. Pros: I love newegg. I bought this as retail and recieved open box, even the batteries were gone. Shame on you Newegg.
Pros: This is the third mouse of this type I have purchased and I absolutely love these things. OK with me. I bought because is 2. VERY sparse written instructions. Receiver has big button on top. Mouse has very small button near bottom of battery door. Use paperclip or pen to press mouse reset button. If computer recognizes the USB receiver but mouse does not work, use reset buttons to sync up the two units.
Press the big button on top of receiver light starts to blink then point the mouse towards the receiver and press the button on bottom of mouse. Receiver lights glows steadily. Units Synced. Overall Review: Battery door access point seems weak. OK for me. I will be careful. It concerns me that office workers who can break a Sherman Tank will change batteries eventually. Sort of a trade off to get a good product I suppose. Pros: i bought this to replace my wired intellimouse explorer that i've had for years.
Cons: the scroll button is alittle stiff as others have said, but still useable and not really a big problem. Pros: Like the design, though it would have taken some getting used to as it's much larger than any other mice I've used. Buttons are very quiet, no bright visible lighting. Cons: Wireless is very spotty.
At what seems like random intervals, it will stop registering movement or clicks for a split second; very annoying for a competitive gamer. I've had it stopped working randomly. This technology enables a virtually interference-free performance with dependable encryption, greater reliability, and longer battery life. A wide variety of 2. The ergonomic structure helps in typing accurately and offers accurate tracking. This advanced wireless mouse offers you up to 30 feet of wireless freedom and eliminates the constraints that wired mice often cause.
Use the dell universal receiver control panel to view the connection status of your wireless mouse or pair the mouse with another receiver. Problems can i hope someone does! Download the user to be stored inside the usb dongle. It was working perfect, then the next day i tried it and it wasn't working.
Cons: I am constantly, accidentally right-clicking. Hundreds of times a day. I thought I would learn not to, but it's been two weeks already. The right-click is just too sensitive. Pros: Good feel to mouse if you are right handed. Cat likes the cable to chew on. I got this mouse for free as a package deal and the price was right!
Cons: Cord came out of docking platform after 7 months. Mouse can freeze or exhibit erratic behavior which can only be solved by removing and reinserting battery. Cord seems attractive to cats. Removing the USB transmitter and placing it in the bottom of the mouse causes extra work but will shut down the mouse. Overall Review: Mouse feels alright for right hand. Not sure how it is for lefties. Had to buy a cable shield to keep the cat away from the cord.
The mouse seems sturdy enough to withstand smashing by frustrated wife when it would not work right. Removing and reinserting battery seems to set things right. The charge time for the battery is acceptable once the battery was pulled and reinserted. Also, remember to remove the wireless USB transmitter and put it in the bottom of the mouse to turn it off when you are done. Pros: Battery lasts less than a week during heavy use and two or three weeks during normal use. The mousewheel is metallic as opposed to rubber and won't gunk up over time when scrolling.
The mouse glows blue when it is turned on or out of sleep mode. The small receiver is nicer to use than the old big bulky ones from Microsoft. Cons: It will only charge if the battery is below a certain level. A few times the battery would appear to be fully charged only to get the low battery light a day later. I would have to remove it out of the mouse, pair it with another NIMH battery and use a plug-in charger.
Not really suitable for serious gaming that involves the mousewheel but I knew that ahead of time. Recommend only buying if it is on sale. Pros: Worked on most surfaces and had great range. Rechargeable battery lasted for almost a month before recharge.
