I think the term is called 'drip-charging' or also known as 'over-charging' Because my battery is in-built, I just remove the AC plug every hour and a bit and let the battery drain if I plan on gaming longer than 15 hours, which is very rare try not to let it get down too low, as 'apparently' that also lowers battery life.
